We will be rebooting the master server (Spark) to apply udpates. This will result in temporary outages for product activations, the smartCARS authorization server, smartCARS Premium, smartCARS Chat, and web hosting services. The process should be no more than 10 minutes before regular service continues.

If you used the client area to authenticate into cPanel, Bacula shows this error: 'Error: "Cpanel authenticating failed: 401"'. Logging in to cPanel directly (not through the client area) can sidestep this issue. We are investigating this.

There was an issue that caused our MySQL server to crash. This prevented websites which use SQL-based services from functioning. The issue was resolved by staff members and steps have been taken to fix the cause of the problem. As per our AUP, we have issued a full month of credit to affected clients.

Due to a server upgrade, all websites were reporting a "Server 500" error for a brief period of time. This was not caused by any sort of security related problem, but simply a MySQL version mismatch.

These updates mitigate the Heartbleed Bug on our servers. This bug was recently discovered and affects almost all websites. We have patched it, protecting our users. We will be restarting the smartCARS chat server to apply a software update at 2:00PM EST on Sunday, January 19, 2014. This restart will NOT affect flights in progress, it will only cause a brief disconnect from the smartCARS chat server. Once the server has finished restarting, users may simply reconnect by clicking "Retry" on the chat page in the smartCARS client.
