The Problem
Either smartCARS or the smartCARS installer stops working immediately after opening.
The Resolution
Please install (or repair) the .NET 4.5 framework with this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653.
The Explanation
smartCARS version 2 and the installer are built with a newer version of the .NET framework as it contained additional features we required. This version of .NET is not properly installed on every system yet.
